Sea World !!

For everyone who has been waiting for these pictures - here they are! and you will get quite an eye full. Our tickets we bought last year are good for one whole year so we thought we better take the oportunity and go to Sea World while we didn't have to pay to get in again. WE had tons of fun!!!

Just like most vacations for us- they start with a pic nic along the way...

Because the table was in the shade...and cold, the kids decided to have the picnic on the ground in the sun.

WE got there Friday afternoon, so we saw the Shamu "Believe" show and the Beluga whale "Azul" show. Shamu was a lot shorter than last year because of the changes due to a trainer getting pulled under water and killed last month- the trainers can't get in the water with them anymore- but also because Mommy Shamu had Baby SHamu in January!! SHe mostly just swam along side her mom- but everytime she popped up- the whole audience said "Awwwwwww" Brooklyn was in heaven! I think this was her favorite part of our trip.

Waiting for the Azul Show with the dolphins and beluga whales. THis was definitly Cristine's favorite... she loved watching the swimmers swim with the small whales and went back to the hotel excited to try the synchronized swimming.

Saturday Morning, getting ready for day 2!

The entrance is always busy in the morning with people in line for photo ops, I still managed to get a photo of my super studly trophy husband and kids.

Then we fed some dolphins, the kids loved it!

We caught up with some hungry seals and fed them too.
WE don't have pictures of these because we were too busy trying to keep our kids from falling in. Open your mouth and close your eyes, and I'll give you a big surprise... The sela barked to get your attention for food, the sea lions splashed the water, but this guy just kept his eyes closed and his mouth open hoping somebody would take pity on him.
Then we fed some hungy birds and watched the girls squeal with delight....are terror (those claws are kinda sharp).

Brooklyn was really excited at first, then a bunch of birds landed at once....it was kinda like the scene in Jurrasic park III where the terridactils land in the birdcage and the people were stuck inside trying to get out fast. ha ha

Then we fed our faces.

Cristine has always been ahead of the game with fashion.

The 4D theatre was great till we found out it was 4D (with water, vibration, scary air puffs, and lots more water in your face) and the spiders and bees began attacking our faces. ha ha

We have sat in the splash zone, right up front for all the shows twice now- three times for shamu, and each time have watched people around us get soaked- and we didn't get a drop- who knew we had to go into a movie theater and watch a movie to get wet- we got suspicious when we saw wet seats when we went in.

WE have small videos of Shamu, the Beluga Whales and Dolphins and the sea lion show, but they are taking FOREVER to upload so I will post those tomorrow!
