It is kind of hard to see, but this is one of his tunnels leading from the grass into my flower bed. WE walk around and smash the "feeding" tunnels ( they eat the grubs right under the grass, and live in deeper tunnels underneath) and the next morning they are back...
So Ty got some Granuals that- when they get wet- they turn into Castor oil- harmless- but the moles and other critters don't like it and they leave. We didn't want to use poison with our kids around in the grass- epecially since tanner has a strange habit of sticking his toes in his mouth - GROSS! ( along with is finger in his nose...and then his mouth...ugh! he is such a BOY!) It worked until he found a new spot in the yard- so then we flooded his holes with the hose! It was crazy to stick the hose in and watch it go and go and go! and then all of the sudden the water would pop up somewhere else in the yard! We flooded as many as we could and so far we have not seen any more holes or tunnels... hopefully!
