Learning about sitting in a saddle
He got two "Bingo's" at once, he made sure to let everyone know that. The bingo squares had things like The long horn, BBQ, Blubonnets, Cowboy, Boots, Sam Houston, etc...
Learning to Lasso a cow
"Milking" a cow. They filled rubber gloves with water and poked holes in the end in the fingers, I love his face as water came out the first time!
Wagon Races
Throwing Horseshoes
The Pony races, This was Tanners favorite! The kids were racing two at a time against each other. Tanner was the odd one left at the end of the line, The teacher offered him a unicorn if he wanted to race the other two boys and race as three. He hilliarious as he looked at his teacher with a skeptical face and said "I think I will wait for a horse" for him, it was worth the wait and not have to ride the girly unicorn. Afterwards they made Shriff badges, had a snack and sang songs about Texas.
Yeah... my little guy is a Cowboy

This post made me so happy. WE LOVE OUR TAN MAN!! I laughed out loud so hard when I saw him milking a glove/cow. His face is so cute! Awwww, love you guys!!
You know, I used to think it was so weird that the schools in Texas went so overboard in teaching kids Texas pride... until we moved to Kansas. HOLY COW! I don't think we've got you beat when it comes to teaching state pride, but Kansas Day was almost bigger than any other holiday! Crazy, but fun. I'm glad Tanner had such a fun day.
