Our new bike rider!

Brooklyn has had an amazing growth spurt! So much in fact that her feet finally touch the ground while sitting on her bike. I think that's important when starting out because there is a sense of security in being able to put your feet down.  I was thinking it would take a few weeks to get her going, but on the third try she shot off down the sidewalk all on her own!!!

 Her little feet were pumping so fast I couldn't keep up! Then her next step was to start all by herself without us giving her a push. WE kept offering as it was really hard to get a hang of, but she is on determined girl and would say "NO! I CAN do it!" and sure enough after a few more tries she can start, go, and stop all on her own :) The next time we went out riding as a family we all took bikes so we could keep up with our little superstar. I tried to get a picture of the front of her with her grinning face (she lost her front teeth) but she kept riding away from me too fast!

 Isn't he soo handsome??  I am so grateful for this wonderful man in my life :)
