Our little girl is no longer so little- she is now 7 years old! On her birthday she decide she wanted to have scones for breakfast, and an entire bag of little ceasers breadsticks all to her self for lunch, and for dinner she wanted to go to Wendy's with just mom and dad. She had a big girl party that morning with her friends where they made bracelets, painted their nails and then opened presents-ALL of her friends must have known she liked horses, because she got a lot of them.
In the morning she got to open a lot of packages sent to her. In fact- we didn't even see wrapping paper until her friends came ;) She loved ALL of her presents- but I think her favorite was the new book of mormon (triple combo) that we got her with the scripture case and scripture stickers. She carries it EVERYWHERE and anytime there is a dull moment she says "I need to read my book of mormon"- she is now on 1 Nephi 3. What a special spirit she has! I wish I could "bottle" it up to save for another time when she may struggle, or share with me, or share with anyone I know. the other night we were on the trampoline looking at the stars and she said "the stars are a symbol of Jesus" and told us the christmas story- and then started quoting scriptures she has memorized. WOW! I told her I wanted to learn to be more like her and she said "Okay- first you need to be really nice, and then learn to ride a horse so you can be a cowgirl." note to self: "be nice, ride a horse" We are soo blessed to have her in our family.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRISTINE!! I can't believe how old you are. I love these stories, you really are a total sweetheart. And I love the ladybug books, so glad you got one. We love you tons!!!!
