What's going on...

Don't they look happy?!
WE took Gramma and Grampa Earl to Sea World

They were very good sports with all the walking and crowds.  Note to self: It is very crowded during spring break.  But really.. it was a lot of fun!!!  I don't care how many time we do it, it is still fun to feed the seals and sea lions.  They are soo funny! Grampa wanted to dive in and go swimming with them.  But, Ithink the stars this year were my very own kids.  They put on quite a show for gramma and grampa and loved every bit of the extra attention.
Brooklyn hurt her arm at the playground a few weeks ago and hurt her elbow.  It isn't bad just a small hair line fracture and the fat pocket on her arm was out of place.  I laughed at the doctor when he said "SHe could just wear a sling if was very very careful and still with it for a few weeks" Apparently he doesn't know Brooklyn well... nothing can keep this girl down! I have been glad many times so far we put it in a cast.  and she only needs it for three weeks.  We took gramma and gramp to the park so the kids could play and Brooklyn went to the climbing wall fast.  Sure enough she made it to the top!  She failed both Apple and Carrot food trails this month.. hopefully next month will be better.
Cristine got her expanders put in her mouth.  It was pretty sore for a few days and for a girl who already has a limited diet and a picky eater.. feeding her was tough!  I made lots of smoothies.  THen I made her a hamburger patty and put it in the blender with some spaghetti sauce.. to me it looked SO nasty, but she LOVED it! She is reading like crazy and getting faster at doing her math.  She always amazed me at how fast she learns and loves to go to school.  What a sweet girl :) SHe has also been extremely sensitive to Brooklyn and helping her quite often with the things she can't get to with her arm.
Tanner has a new Pet Beaver... which he has named ... beaver! and everywhere he goes the beaver goes too.  Don't worry we are not poaching the wildlife, Grampa got him a cool super fuzzy puppet beaver. This one act made him and grampa pals for life.  The rest of us will have to be content with second place for now. He makes me laugh so hard. The other day he said "What sound does a rabbit make?" I told him they kind of squeal when they are upset or hurt. He said "Oh.. what about a bunny?"  Today he came to me with his teeth all sparkly clean and freshly brushed, without me asking him to do it.  I praised him and he said "Can I have a dollar now?" I offered him .10 cents. He siad he already had a dollar in his pocket though. I asked him where he got it and he said "From your purse.. that's why I brushed my teeth!"

I love reading your blog and seeing what you are all doing! That Tanner is a hoot! He sounds so much like my own boys sometimes. Glad you are all doing well!
