Tanner is such a BOY!! We have been potty training and he now has decided he doesn't like feeling "yucky" but he doesn't want to go in the potty- a few days ago he went outside and pooped on my lawn, and then came back in all proud of himself and has talked about it for 2 days. this morning we caught him peeing in a water bottle! to that - we were shocked he even got "it" in there! Ty was proud at that point, Here is a video of his centiped friend- don't forget to pause the music! (scroll down on the right side in the pink box)

Jots and Tittles
There hasn't been any major events in the past few weeks , but more like a lot of small things worth mentioning... Ty got to spend a week in bakersfield CA for work. He finally made it to lompoc (sorry jason and natalie) and got to go to pismo beach and even played in the water to find seashells for our kids- what a good dad! We are all glad he is home.
Yesterday Ty found a frog in our garage... we of course had to catch it so the kids could play with it! There is a never ending amount of wildlife we have not encountered before our move here that we have seen in the wild including: snakes, racoons, armadillos, tree frogs, gecko lizards, Wild Pigs, squoosed possum (roadkill)and Oh Yeah- an ALLIGATOR! (note- these are animals we have SEEN!)Lots of different kinds of birds too including the red cardinal. WE have baby birds in our front tree! The mommy bird in very particular and won't go to the nest if we are outside, she stays on top of the lightpole watching us- so we go inside and watch her feed her babies from our own "nest"
At first the kids just watched the frog- and tried to feed it a centiped (which tanner "rescued") but after we let it go then they got brave and pet it while it sat on the grass.
While ty was in CA i got a free dresser from a neighbor, it was pretty beat up and wobbly. SO Ty (my awesome hubby) took it completly apart and put it back together the right way and then beefed it up so now it is super strong! YAY. Cristine now has her very own dresser. She is very excited because she can reach the top, but tanner and brooklyn can't so she puts her "special" things up there now.
AS for brooklyn, she is going through some trying times right now-I kept removing foods from her diet that were causing her tummy pain and such, and got down to just blackberries and coconut milk. A 4 yr old can't live on that so the allergist said to put her on a rotation diet. Meaning that in a 5 day period she will have a grain, meat, fruit and veggie each day- and everyday they will be different and a different family- then the next 5 days she will repeat the food family, but a different food in that family the same for days9-12. Example: Day 1 she can have apples, day 5 she can have pears (in the apple family) day 9 she can have Quince (in the apple family) this way we are supposed to be able to see which days are "bad days" and which are "good days". because you aren't repeating anyfoods for 12 days. however everyday has been a bad day so far- so we are now discussing other options- mostly just simplifying her diet until we can get her to the GI doctor in july.
